Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring a Utility to wash, fuel and service fleet vehicles and perform daily facility maintenance at our CA location. You will assist in fleet operations and prepare daily reports, working in various outdoor weather conditions.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. Prior transit experience is a plus, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly pay.

What will your job look like?

The Utility will be responsible for washing, fueling and minor servicing of fleet vehicles, perform facility maintenance and repairs as needed, assist in fleet maintenance daily operations and able to work in various weather elements outdoors.

Location: 3333 South Market Street, CA 96001

What you’ll do:

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills with attention to timeliness and details
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Regular attendance is required
• May require sitting in front of, and operating, a computer for extended periods
• Requires close visual acuity when operating a computer
• Must be able to communicate with others and comprehend instructions
• Requires light lifting and carrying
• Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers
• Must be able to move around an office environment
