Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring Industrial Utilities/HVAC‑R Technicians for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin. You will service, troubleshoot, and maintain ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and related utilities, joining a factory Emergency Response and HAZWOPER team.

Starting pay is $35.64 per hour with a $1.50 premium for 3rd shift. On‑site training, a 12‑hour 2/2/3 schedule, and comprehensive benefits are offered after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Ammonia refrigeration experience is required or preferred.
• HVAC/R experience or related field education is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• RETA-CARO certification is preferred, otherwise must be obtained within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair large HVAC/R equipment.
• Maintain ammonia refrigeration and associated utilities systems.
• Inspect drive‑in coolers/freezers, boilers, glycol chillers, and water systems.
• Keep equipment logs using computerized maintenance systems; ensure safety compliance.
• Support Process Safety Management and emergency response teams.

Position Summary

Industrial Utilities/HVAC‑R Technicians are responsible for the service, troubleshooting and repair, and preventative maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC, and utilities systems. Participate in the Process Safety Management program and be a member of the factory Emergency Response team and HAZWOPER team.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred


• Ammonia Refrigeration experience


• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing preferred


• Minimum of 1 year experience or education in HVAC/R or related field preferred


• RETA‑CARO certification is preferred
