Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License class "E" or higher for duration of appointment.
• Currently enrolled in a water or wastewater operator certification program.

Responsibilities

• Supports maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of water and wastewater systems, lift stations and related equipment.
• Operates equipment such as water meters, hydrants, and trucks as assigned.
• Completes daily work orders and assists in construction and maintenance of water and wastewater mains, pumping and treatment facilities.
• Assists experienced staff and participates in training to learn procedures and safety standards.
