General Mills is hiring a Utilities Mechanic at the Hannibal manufacturing site to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, steam systems, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and related building systems on 12-hour rotating shifts (2-2-3 pattern). Starting pay is $33.53/hour, with increases to $36.95 and $38.55 after training, plus a $1/hour shift premium.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of industrial maintenance or related education/experience.
• Experience with multimeters and electrical components.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to communicate in English in the workplace.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, steam systems, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment using electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Complete daily wastewater sampling and monitor chemical levels per shift.
• Support site security and alarm systems after training.
• Document work and readings in maintenance systems.
