Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions.
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights while using stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
• Follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards.
• Wear PPE such as safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, hard cap, hair/beard net, gloves and masks when required.
• Able to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial processing and packaging machinery and equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform basic machining and welding tasks.
• Understand circuit layouts; replace and troubleshoot instrumentation, motors, and electrical components.
• Provide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and modification.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why).
• Perform uptime and downtime preventative maintenance.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives to boost performance.
• Assist in training new employees.
