JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Utilities Water Treatment Manager, the Water Plant Technician provides advanced administrative support to the division. Responsibilities include developing and implementing standard processes and procedures related to City Council agenda preparation, financial spreadsheets, budget creation and monitoring, purchase requisitions, timesheet entry and corrections, CMMS work order tracking, historical records, employee training, plant data/activity processes, and presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred, with at least three years of experience managing multiple projects or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Qualifications: Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license within 45 days of hire if operating city vehicles. Knowledge of municipal rules, regulations, and procedures, especially in potable construction, engineering, plant, and field operations, is preferred.
