Job summary

Benesch in Utah is seeking an entrepreneurial transportation leader to shape our strategy, culture, and client relationships as we expand the Utah practice. This senior seller-doer role balances technical excellence, project management, and people leadership to build a lasting regional presence.

You will recruit and mentor staff, win work from key clients, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and collaborate with national resources while maintaining local autonomy in a growing office.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering or similar degree required.
PE License required.
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to recruit new talent and lead teams.

Responsibilities

Contribute to contracted backlog and drive growth in Utah.
Develop junior staff through design and construction phase guidance.
Manage scope, schedule, budgets, and resources for multiple projects.
Support local, regional, and corporate strategic growth initiatives.
Prepare and disseminate meeting minutes, reports, and technical documents.
Oversee design calculation files and QC reviews.
