Job summary

Benesch is expanding in Utah and seeks a senior Transportation Project Manager to lead our growth. This role balances technical excellence, project management, and people leadership, building the Utah practice, recruiting talent, and mentoring staff.

The successful candidate will expand client relationships, manage multiple projects, and shape our long-term presence in Utah while leveraging national resources with local autonomy.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or similar degree required.
• PE license required.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to recruit new talent.
• Proven ability to win work and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backlog and grow Utah practice.
• Lead and mentor staff across design and construction phases.
• Manage scope, schedule, budgets, and resources for multiple projects.
• Develop relationships with clients and grow key accounts.
• Support growth strategy and local business development initiatives.
• Oversee team communications, QC reviews, and project deliverables.
