Job summary

BBSI Talent Acquisition is expanding in Utah and seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and long-term partnerships. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—and stay engaged during the first year to ensure a successful launch and ongoing growth.

In this role, you’ll build relationships, manage a robust sales pipeline, and collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to meet revenue targets and ensure client success.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of successful B2B sales experience in staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or a related service industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals.
• Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to build credibility with HR, operations, and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Professionalism, urgency, ownership, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently in a metrics-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ATS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build new relationships through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Target prospective clients across assigned industries and territories.
• Lead discovery meetings to understand workforce needs and business goals.
• Present staffing and talent acquisition solutions.
• Develop and maintain a healthy, well-qualified sales pipeline.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and follow-up activities.
• Consistently achieve defined revenue, margin, activity, and account-acquisition goals.
