Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking an NDT Technician II for Ultrasonic Testing (UT Level II) in Brea, CA. This on-site, full-time role involves hands-on UT inspection of aerospace carbon fiber composites and leadership in training Level I technicians.

Candidates should have at least three years of UT experience; NAS 410 UT Level II certification is highly preferred. Strong proficiency with MS Office and data reporting is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of composite ultrasonic testing experience.
• NAS 410 UT Level II certification strongly preferred; equivalent qualifications considered.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic NDT on carbon fiber laminate, sandwich and core structures.
• Set up and operate ultrasonic inspection equipment per procedures.
• Conduct inspections using A-Scan, C-Scan, pulse echo, and through transmission.
• Document results and report nonconformances; prepare NCRs as needed.
• Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance to Level I technicians.
