Job summary

Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company, seeks a UT Service Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support for Waygate Technologies’ Ultrasonic Testing systems across North America. You will install, calibrate, maintain, and train customers on UT equipment, acting as the primary technical contact on site.

Based in Skaneateles, NY with remote candidates considered, this role requires frequent North American travel and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in engineering, science or technology field.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and technical reporting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, inspect, and maintain UT testing systems across North America.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and ultrasonic issues to maximize uptime.
• Provide customer training on system operation and maintenance.
