Baker Hughes in Skaneateles, NY seeks an UT Service Engineer to deliver on-site service and technical support for Waygate Technologies' ultrasonic testing systems across North America. You will install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and train customers to maximize equipment performance and uptime.

The role requires travel throughout North America and occasional international travel, with remote/Home‑Based Candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or technology required.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems desired.
• Demonstrated self-starter able to manage multiple projects.
• Energetic, assertive and customer‑focused in fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on mentality and team spirit essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair on UT systems across North America.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, and ultrasonic testing equipment to maximize uptime and performance.
• Conduct certifications, health assessments, and service interventions per requirements.
• Deliver customer training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers during field assignments.
• Identify service, spare parts, upgrade, and maintenance opportunities to improve reliability.
• Complete service reports and certification documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure safety and alignment with quality standards and schedules.
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, Project Management, and Sales teams across lifecycle.
