Job summary

Baker Hughes Holdings LLC in Skaneateles, NY is seeking a UT Service Engineer to install, commission, and service UT testing systems across North America, with travel required. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues, deliver customer training, and maintain thorough service records while collaborating with Field Service, Engineering, and Sales teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or technology.
Hands-on experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems and devices.
Self-starter able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Customer-focused mindset with strong service ethos.
Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across North America (and some international travel).

Responsibilities

Install, commission, calibrate, inspect, preventive maintenance, and repair UT testing systems across North America.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, automation, and ultrasonic testing equipment to maximize uptime.
Conduct annual certifications and health assessments; complete service interventions.
Deliver customer training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting best practices.
Serve as primary technical contact for customers during field assignments and build strong relationships.
