Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, psychology, communications, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, sales, business development, or similar.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage prospective candidates and generate interest in opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies, candidates, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with ATS, job boards, Microsoft Office, and digital sourcing tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies across departments.
  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle: postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and timelines.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social networks, referrals, and outreach.
  • Present opportunities to candidates and maintain positive candidate experiences.
  • Evaluate candidates for experience, qualifications, and fit.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and background checks.
  • Maintain recruitment records in the ATS and build talent pipelines.
  • Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and other talent sources.

Our client, an established organization located in St. Thomas, is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Bilingual Recruiter to support its workforce growth.

This position is ideal for a recruitment or sales professional who is skilled at building relationships, promoting career opportunities, and managing multiple hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying and attracting qualified candidates through selection and onboarding coordination. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver a positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, persuasive, organized, and comfortable proactively engaging prospective candidates through multiple recruitment channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies for positions across multiple departments.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, résumé review, phone screenings, interviews, selection support, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, candidate profiles, operational priorities, and hiring timelines.
  • Proactively source and engage prospective candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Present employment opportunities in a compelling and accurate manner to generate candidate interest.
  • Evaluate candidates based on their experience, qualifications, communication skills, and alignment with position requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, reference checks, background checks, and other preemployment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely recruitment records within the applicant tracking system.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated staffing needs.
  • Develop professional relationships with candidates, educational institutions, community organizations, and other talent sources.
  • Monitor recruitment activity, hiring metrics, and labor-market trends to improve sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes.
  • Support employer-branding initiatives that strengthen the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Provide candidates with consistent communication and a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • At least two years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, sales, business development, or another relationship-focused field.
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to confidently engage prospective candidates and generate interest in employment opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies, candidates, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing recruitment priorities.
