Job summary

Synergis is seeking a User Study Researcher II for our San Diego campus to drive comprehensive user research and data collection supporting hardware and software development. You will collaborate across engineering teams to plan, execute, and monitor studies, ensuring high-quality data and actionable insights.

The role emphasizes hands-on involvement in equipment setup, inventory, and vendor coordination, with a focus on data-driven decisions that shape product experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in operations, test/quality/support engineering, or technical program management.
• Strong troubleshooting and triage skills.
• Experience planning, executing and tracking large-scale data collection and user studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience coordinating with hardware, software, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale user studies and data collection efforts.
• Collaborate across multiple technical teams to drive insights for algorithm development.
• Support equipment setup, inventory and vendor collaboration as needed.
