Job summary

OSI Engineering, Inc. is seeking a User Study Researcher in San Diego to plan, execute, and manage large-scale user studies for algorithm development.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and operations teams to define data collection requirements and ensure successful delivery. The role requires a strong background in operations or related fields, excellent troubleshooting skills, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or similar.
• 3+ years in operations, test/quality/support engineering or Technical Program Management.
• Strong troubleshooting and triage skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and track large scale data collections and user studies for algorithm development
• Track and report on progress, blockers and key deliverables to Data Operations Team
• Collaborate with hardware, software, infrastructure and Operations teams on requirements for data collections
• Create and maintain documentation for HW/SW platform setup and protocol for vendor training and deployment
• Support Data Operations team with equipment set up and inventory tracking
