FocusKPI is looking for a User Researcher to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.

Work Location:

Mountain View, CA

Duration:

12-month contract; hybrid role (on-site 4 days a week)

Pay Range:

$70/hr to $80/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Perform competitive research to analyze industry trends, identify competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and recommend actionable insights.
2. Engage in market research to understand the target audience and market conditions, supporting product development and marketing strategies.
3. Conduct UX research focused on understanding user needs, behaviors, and preferences to improve product usability.
4. Develop and deliver polished presentations to communicate research findings clearly and effectively.
5. Conduct ongoing research into competitors and market trends, contributing to long-term strategic planning rather than single-project initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. 4-7 years of relevant experience.
2. Education: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
3. Experience with UX skills and research is mandatory.
4. Proficiency with Figma and other modern tools for organizing and visually presenting findings to stakeholders.
5. Experience working with B2B products or the ability to quickly learn technical B2B product intricacies.
6. Ability to lead research projects independently and persuade leadership with research insights.
7. Capability to conduct ongoing research into competitors and market trends, contributing to strategic planning.
8. Flexibility to adapt and shift gears quickly to achieve results and support quick stakeholder decisions, relying on secondary research methods like surveys and desktop research.
