Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking an early-career UX Designer in Plano, TX. The role targets recent graduates with up to 4 years of experience and a degree in UX Design or a related field.

You will work with Senior and Lead Designers on Join, Onboarding, and Member Recognition journeys, applying human-centered design and delivering mobile-focused, visually compelling experiences. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is required; experience with native apps or PWAs is a plus.

Job description

Seeking an early-career UX Designer to support key member experiences. This role is intended for recent graduates through approximately 2 to 4 years of professional experience. Candidates should have a degree in UX Design, or a human centered field.

The candidate will work alongside Senior and Lead Designers responsible for key member journeys including Join, Onboarding, and Member Recognition & Rewards. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong foundation in human-centered design, visual design, and mobile experience design, with a desire to grow their craft in a highly collaborative environment.

Visual design is a must, app design/ progressive web app design experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply human-centered design methodologies, including the Double Diamond framework, throughout the design process.
• Design intuitive and engaging experiences based on user insights.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and legal partners to deliver member-centered solutions.
• Participate in user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, synthesis, and insights generation.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, pen and paper.
• Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback into iterative design solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, or a closely related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 4 years of UX design experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of human-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Good visual design skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
• Academic projects are acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for Native Apps or Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
• Experience with graphic design, motion design.
• Interest in emerging technologies and integrating AI into product experiences and design workflows.
