Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a User Experience Analyst to help design customer-facing apps across desktop, tablet, and mobile. You will use user research, wireframes, flows, and prototypes to inform decisions and advocate for the customer.

Collaborate with technology, business analysts, operations, and testing teams; plan studies, analyze findings, and translate insights into design recommendations. Requires 2–4 years of experience and knowledge of web/mobile design patterns and IA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly desirable; 3 years of relevant work experience is the minimum acceptable substitute
• 2-4 years of professional experience
• Existing proficiency with Web and mobile design patterns is required
• Solid knowledge of user interface design, information architecture, and human factors is absolutely required
• Familiarity with user research techniques, usability testing, and analytics is required
• Existing familiarity with Web and mobile design patterns is required
• Knowledge of user interface design, information architecture, and human factors is strongly recommended
• Familiarity with user research techniques, usability testing, and analytics is strongly recommended
• Demonstrated experience making and supporting recommendations using observed customer behavior and site analytics

Responsibilities

• Specify and articulate your experience designs using low- and medium-fidelity wireframes, user flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes
• Partner with key stakeholders, including technology, business analysts, operations, customer care, and testing teams, all while advocating for the best experience for our customers
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in customer experience research studies using techniques such as usability testing, focus groups, and feedback surveys analyze the information gathered to make design recommendations for improving an experience
• Take ownership of assigned projects and make decisions with limited supervision other responsibilities as assigned

Job description

My client’s User Experience (UX) team is committed to defining and building great experiences for their customer-facing apps and online experiences. As a User Experience Analyst, you will utilize a variety of user research and information gathering techniques – along with your strong creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills – to help design experiences for desktop, t, and mobile devices. To be successful, you will need to be collaborative, confident, self-aware, flexible, analytical, creative as well as an advocate for the customer.
