Job summary

Honolulu Buick GMC Cadillac is seeking a full-time Used Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles while meeting manufacturer standards. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to support peak demand and maximize earnings.

We value ASE certification, 2+ years of dealership experience, and comfort with dealership software and computer tools. Successful candidates will communicate effectively with staff and maintain thorough repair documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Technician in a dealership or shop.
• Must demonstrate confidence with lube and maintenance services, engine repair, suspension/steering repair, brake repair and heating and A/C repair (optional).
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and dealership technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, observing manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions.
• Complete repairs according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document all work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing necessary training.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
