Job summary

Huntington Beach Hyundai, part of Lithia & Driveway, seeks a Used Car Technician for our Costa Mesa, CA remote shop. You’ll diagnose and repair a range of vehicle systems and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure quality and safety.

You’ll work Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, on a flat-rate pay plan of $30-$35/hour with incentives tied to production and performance, and you’ll join a supportive team within a large dealer group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with European brands.
• 2+ years of experience working with electric vehicles.
• ASE certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical, and engine components.
• Conduct multi-point inspections.
• Complete used vehicle reconditioning to meet quality and safety standards.
• Document inspections, repair recommendations, and completed work orders.
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation.
