Job summary

Hiley Mazda of Hurst is seeking a capable Used Vehicle Service Technician to inspect Certified Pre-Owned and used cars, perform repairs, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.

You will test drive, diagnose automotive systems, and work with the service advisor and director to meet timelines, while adhering to manufacturer specifications and warranty guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• Multi-brand vehicle knowledge preferred.
• B level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform Certified Pre-Owned, Used Car and Cash Car inspections.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate directly with the internal advisor and used car director of timeframe, repairs, etc.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications when necessary.
