Job summary

Hiley Automotive Group is looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team in providing top-notch inspection, diagnostics, and repair services for a variety of vehicles. The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and strong customer communication.

You will perform inspections, diagnose issues with electronic tools, and execute repairs to manufacturer specifications, while maintaining a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• Multi-brand vehicle knowledge preferred.
• Dexterity, steady hand and eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and collaborating with others.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform Certified Pre-Owned, Used Car and Cash Car inspections.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate repair timeframe with internal advisor and used car director.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications when necessary.
