Job summary

Hiley Mazda of Hurst in Texas is seeking a Full-Time Used Vehicle Service Technician to inspect Certified Pre-Owned, used and cash cars. You will diagnose and repair multiple systems, conduct test drives, and ensure work meets dealer standards.

Preference for 2+ years’ service experience, multi-brand knowledge, and high school diploma. Strong diagnostic skills and customer-focused approach are essential for success in our dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Multi-brand vehicle knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and steady hand with good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude with willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Perform Certified Pre-Owned, Used Car and Cash Car inspections.
• Execute work per repair order efficiently and per dealer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, and related systems.
• Communicate repair timeframe and needs with internal advisor and used car director.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications when necessary.
