Job summary

Hiley Mazda of Hurst is seeking a Used Vehicle Service Technician to inspect and repair vehicles, including Certified Pre-Owned and used cars. You will perform repairs according to repair orders, communicate with internal staff, and test-drive vehicles using diagnostic tools.

The role requires 2+ years of service experience, multi-brand knowledge, and the ability to operate diagnostic equipment. A valid driver's license and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Multi-brand vehicle knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• B level qualifications including Diagnostics, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform Certified Pre-Owned, Used Car and Cash Car inspections.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with internal advisor and used car director regarding timeframe of repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications when necessary.
