Job summary

Hiley Mazda of Hurst is seeking a Used Vehicle Service Technician to diagnose, inspect, and repair certified pre-owned and used vehicles. You will test-drive, evaluate systems, and perform repairs in line with dealership standards, ensuring quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include communicating repair timelines to the advisor and used car director, and executing warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications when required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Multi-brand vehicle knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform Certified Pre-Owned, Used Car and Cash Car inspections.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the internal advisor and used car director of timeframe, repairs, etc.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications when necessary.
