Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Missoula is seeking a Used Vehicle Buyer to acquisition and evaluate used-car inventory. You will negotiate prices, assess vehicle conditions, and ensure timely processing of purchases while monitoring retail trends and inventory needs.

The role requires 1+ year of automotive sales experience, a team-oriented mindset, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic dealership and its vehicle procurement strategy.

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Acquire used-car inventory through direct contacts, leads, auctions, dealers, and inquiries
• Appraise vehicles, assess condition, negotiate price, and arrange timely processing of purchases
• Understand retail trends and participate in inventory planning and purchasing
• Generate leads and set appointments by researching the used car market
• Meet car buying quotas and develop relationships with purchasing venues to expedite inventory placement
