Job summary

Penske Retail Center is seeking a Sales Representative in Akron to assist customers, ensure trucks are ready and properly priced, and maintain accurate inventory information. The role includes coordinating financing, walk-in support for used trucks, and collaborating with the pricing and remarketing teams to optimize inventory turnover.

You will manage sales processes, update Salesforce records, schedule follow-ups, and help transfer units to remarketing.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience required; 1–3 years’ automotive or truck sales preferred.
• Willingness to travel to the location and complete background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales results by managing the local sales process, negotiating price, assisting financing, securing payment and title transfer.
• Assist walk-in customers with used truck needs and coordinate inspections.
• Coordinate with district to resolve post-sale issues and with Remarketing to sell aged inventory.
• Maintain yard and inventory records; ensure pricing and sell sheets are current.
• Update accounts in Salesforce and schedule follow-up tasks with customers.
• Identify under-/overpriced vehicles and work with pricing to align market value.
• Collaborate with Region Asset Manager to ensure vehicle specs and photos are accurate.
• Transfer units from the field to Remarketing and handle other projects as assigned.
