Job summary

Group 1 Automotive BMW Arlington seeks an Acquisition Specialist to join our pre-owned operations team. You will value vehicles using data tools and market insights to support dealership valuations and quick turn of units.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of automotive retail/wholesale, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word). You’ll work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, including rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive retail / wholesale / remarketing experience.
• Two years of experience in a dealership position is a plus.
• Tech-industry or software experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, including customer service and customer care.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word functions.

Responsibilities

• Assessing vehicle condition from information contained in an electronic Condition Report.
• Reviewing vehicle history and market value data from multiple sources.
• Communicating directly with dealership personnel to confirm accuracy and add to description.
• Partnering with other team members to determine valuation.
• Tendering an appraisal amount to dealership within specified time frame.
