Job summary

Ford Dealership is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform repairs on repair orders, and test components to ensure proper operation.

Responsibilities include road testing, diagnosing automotive systems, and communicating with the Service Advisor about additional needed work and time estimates. Ford dealership experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Ford dealership experience preferred.
• B level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
• Dexterity with steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and collaborate with others.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional service and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
