Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Used Car Technician to join our growing team at a Ford dealership. You will perform work on repair orders, diagnose repairs, and test components using diagnostic tools, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include 2+ years as a service technician, a high school diploma, and B level qualifications (diagnostic, electrical, engine repair). A valid driver’s license and teamwork mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity with steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
