Job summary

Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Coon Rapids, MN is seeking a Used Car Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to Lithia standards. You will work with service staff to ensure repairs meet safety and quality guidelines and deliver clean, safe vehicles back to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of experience with automotive systems, and the ability to use diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with automotive systems and components.
• At least 1 year using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and plan appropriate repairs.
• Complete all work according to safety requirements and road-test vehicles to verify quality of repair.
• Record time spent on repairs using company clocking procedures and document test procedures/results.
• Return customer vehicles in clean condition; complete required training and maintain ASE/manufacturer certifications.
