Job summary

Dahl Automotive in Rochester, MN is seeking a Used Vehicle Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair pre-owned vehicles to ensure they are sale-ready.

You will perform road tests, use diagnostic tools, estimate repair time, and communicate with the Reconditioning Manager. Competitive hourly pay from $24 to $28 based on experience, with company benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Good communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections on vehicles, and accurately suggest and execute repair work.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Reconditioning Manager about additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

Join the Dahl Automotive team at Dahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Rochester, MN, as a Used Vehicle Technician! You get guaranteed work for internal repairs to get our used cars on the lot ready for sale. You will have plenty to do to earn a solid income for you and your family. The pay is $24–$28 per hour flat rate, depending on experience!!

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections on vehicles, and accurately suggest and execute repair work.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Reconditioning Manager about any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred
• A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
