Job summary

Russ Darrow Metro CJDR is seeking motivated individuals for a Used Car Technician/Mechanic role in Wisconsin. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain used vehicles to prepare them for sale, with a focus on thorough safety inspections. Formal shop experience is not required; ongoing training is provided from day one.

Starting pay is $40-50 per hour. We offer a full benefits package, 401k with company match, HSA contributions, PTO from day one, and growth opportunities within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Previous shop experience preferred, but not required.
• Automotive background preferred or required.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license and pass drug test/background screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain used vehicles to prepare them for sale.
• Perform safety inspections on used cars.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses and repairs to service advisors and customers.
• Conduct test drives and use diagnostic tools and equipment.

While prior automotive experience is preferred, formal shop experience is not required.
