Job summary

The Russ Darrow Group is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic in Wisconsin to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles to dealership standards. You will use advanced tools, perform test drives, and provide accurate repair estimates as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and suspension.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct test drives and inspections to confirm repairs.
• Provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to the service advisor.
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies through training sessions.
• Inspect and test new vehicles, documenting findings for compliance.

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure their safety and performance. Using advanced tools and equipment, you’ll tackle mechanical and electrical issues with precision and efficiency, while following manufacturer and dealership standards. This role requires a skilled mechanic with a passion for solving problems and delivering high-quality service.
