Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Used Car Technician at L0803 Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Minnesota. You will perform repairs on used vehicles, diagnose issues, and road-test cars to ensure quality while maintaining safety procedures and customer satisfaction.

You will join a team focused on high standards, completing required training and pursuing ASE certifications as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
• 1 year of experience working with automotive systems and components.
• 1+ year of experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Dealership: L0803 Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Coon Rapids CDJR - Used Car Tech Technician

The Used Car Technician performs automotive repairs and service following store and factory standards. You will use your skills to resolve the different sources of automotive problems swiftly. The Service Technician works with all Service personnel and management to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. Our used car Technicians report to the Shop Foreman and is an onsite position at the dealership. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and high-quality vehicles to our customers. What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Ensure that you return customer's vehicles to them as clean as they were before servicing them.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and use technical training as assigned by management.
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

What You'll Bring

Total Rewards

• This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes:

• The Flat Rate Range for this position is: $30.17 - $32.17.
• Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location.
