Job summary

Landers Auto Sales Inc seeks an experienced Used Car Technician for our high-volume service department. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, testing components, and ensuring quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop.

You will communicate with the Service Advisor, provide time estimates, and support ongoing training in a family-owned environment with strong growth opportunities. ASE certifications are encouraged, and a clean driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background is required.
• Strong teamwork skills are essential.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Coordinate with the Service Advisor to inform customers about additional services and provide time estimates.

Used Car Technician

We are seeking experienced Used Car Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere! Our small team structures allow for flexible scheduling, ongoing training and plenty of work to share. OEM certifications are encouraged!

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
