Job summary

Landers Chevrolet of Norman is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our high-volume shop in Norman, OK. Our team is fast-paced with a productive atmosphere and flexible scheduling.

OEM certifications are encouraged, and candidates should have a strong automotive background and teamwork skills. Applicants must be willing to submit to a background check and have a clean, valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional repairs and provide time estimates.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to abackground check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
