Walser Automotive Group is seeking an Inventory/Purchasing professional in Minnesota to plan and manage vehicle inventory, acquire units at auctions, and coordinate pricing and reconditioning. You will collaborate with the Inventory Manager and Pricing Analyst to optimize stock levels and ensure quality for resale and service.

The role emphasizes analytical decision-making, multi-tasking, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must retain crucial information about the vehicle market.
• Must be able to make detailed financial decisions within strict timeframes.
• Proven organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work with Inventory Manager to establish a plan for desired inventory.
• Discuss and set inventory stocking levels with Inventory Manager.
• Acquire vehicles for inventory via online or live auctions.
• Monitor alternate purchasing sources and find new sources monthly.
• Review and correct status/lot locations in Tekion.
• Set up reconditioning plans on all purchases.
• Facilitate transportation of all purchased vehicles.
• Manage ReconTRAC and approvals or adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with Pricing Analyst to confirm accurate pricing.
• Inspect overall quality of vehicles returning from Reconditioning Center.
• Communicate repair concerns with Recon GM/Used Vehicle Director.
• All other duties as assigned.
