Job summary

American Foods Group, LLC is seeking a QA Technician to ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across harvest, fabrication, and grind floor operations. You will monitor procedures, perform audits, collect samples, and document nonconformities and corrective actions.

The role requires adherence to GMP, SSOP, HACCP, SQF standards, and effective communication with USDA inspectors. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (spoken, read, and written).

Responsibilities

• Rotate tasks across animal welfare, sampling, quality inspections, chemical checks, sanitary audits, temperatures, and weights.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and quality procedures; report deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Review GMP, SSOP, and SOP logs for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct pre-op checks, sanitary dressing inspections, and finished product sampling for lab analysis.
• Interact with USDA as needed and interpret test results against specs.
