A Small Business Administration (SBA) Closing Advisor should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. This position will be responsible for in conjunction with sales, credit, legal, and closing teams to foster a culture where client experience, on‑time delivery, and risk management are of equal importance. This role advises and partners with clients regarding the closing process, required documentation, making eligibility determinations under SBA and USDA regulations, and accessing compliance with conditions of credit and closing approval. The SBA Closing Advisor engages Financial Advisors and other team members, as appropriate, to ensure timely closing and compliance with legal, agency, and banking regulations.

High School Diploma or Equivalent -- College degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services.
Knowledge of federal banking regulations and compliance. Knowledge of SBA SOP and processing requirements, USDA program parameters. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software. Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills. Effective analytical and problem‑solving ability with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and prioritize daily tasks. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Excellent client service skills. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both clients and team members. The physical activities of this job include but are not limited to the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time, use of manual dexterity, verbal communication, visual acuity, repetitive motion, and the ability to hear.
