Job summary

Block Island Ferry is seeking qualified USCG licensed mariners for Mate and Engineer positions for the Spring/Summer/Fall of 2026. Positions are available for both full and part-time work on passenger/vehicle and high-speed ferry vessels.

Qualifications

• USCG licensed mariners required for Mate position.
• Mechanically inclined for Engineer (Unlicensed) position.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Mate on board ferry vessels.

• Available to work weekends and holidays.
