Rhode Island Fast Ferry is hiring for the position of Deckhand for the summer season. Responsibilities include assisting passengers, maintaining vessel cleanliness, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Ideal candidates are friendly, outgoing, and enjoy working in a fast-paced marine environment.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have effective communication skills. Join a close-knit team and gain hands-on maritime experience this summer!

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Boating or sailing experience is a plus.
• First Aid / CPR / AED certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with passenger boarding, loading, and overall safety.
• Handle lines during docking and departure.
• Help maintain vessel cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with luggage handling and passenger needs.
• Support emergency procedures and onboard safety protocols.
• Perform light maintenance and general vessel upkeep.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.
