Job summary

Swingtech Consulting seeks HM&E Equipment Specialists to provide full-time technical, logistical, and supply support to the U.S. Coast Guard SBPL. You will assist in maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation of HM&E systems aboard USCG small boats under 65 feet.

Key duties include drafting purchase and repair documentation in NESSS, researching lead times and sources of supply, coordinating inspections, supporting market research and cost analysis, and tracking discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine field with shipboard HM&E systems.
• Understanding of MILSPEC, IEEE, NEC, ANSI standards.
• Knowledge of government acquisition processes (FAR).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with USCG IT systems (NESSS, FLS, NE-TIMS, FED LOG, WebFLIS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and modify purchase/repair docs in NESSS.
• Research lead times, quantities on hand, and sources of supply.
• Coordinate inspections with Item Managers and ICP personnel.
• Assist market research for spare parts and casualty supplies.
• Track SDRs, QDRs, and Mandatory Turn-Ins.
