Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking a friendly Greeter for the Masters Tournament. You will welcome patrons and guests, guiding them professionally while learning our course and facility layout to help guests find restrooms, first aid, scoreboards, exits, and locations of interest.

Adherence to club standards is essential. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, work outdoors in varying conditions, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires stooping, bending, lifting and transporting of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Displays integrity and sincerity interacting with others.

At the Masters, every detail matters, and you can make all the difference. The Greeter is primarily responsible for welcoming patrons, ensuring all service meets Club standards.

Pay Rate: $10.00/hr

Essential Functions of the Job

• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Learns surrounding locations including restrooms, first aid, score boards, condiment stands, exits from course, pairing sheets and nearby golf holes that patrons may request.
• Assists the Stand Supervisor in determining the time to be posted on Awareness Signs pertaining to wait time and alcohol availability.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
