Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to oversee USACE projects in California. You will manage all construction activities, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain safety and quality across multiple sites.

Strong leadership, detailed review of plans, and effective stakeholder communication are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field, 5+ years of experience, and RMS/USACE credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
• Experience on USACE projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a team and resolve issues.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to read/interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• RMS experience.
• USACE certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all construction activities on USACE projects.
• Collaborate with Project team to ensure on-time, on-budget, quality work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Resolve issues or conflicts during construction.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections.
• Generate progress reports and update project schedules.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders and address concerns.
• Provide leadership and support to the construction team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
