Qualifications

• Must have graduate engineer or construction management degree.
• Must have USACE project experience and demonstrated QC program experience per Section 01 45 00.
• Production and placement of mass concrete is key for USACE evaluation.
• Completion of the CQM for Contractors course within the last five years, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Preferred experience as an approved Construction Quality Control Manager on USACE projects (references required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with USACE RMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality Control Systems Management for a USACE mega-project (Lock and Dam).
• Lead the quality control staff including inspectors, testing labs, geologist, and admin support.
• Maintain all site documents and records and coordinate submittals.
• Conduct Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up QC phases for each definable feature.
• Coordinate QC activities with production, management and safety goals.
• Conduct daily QC staff meetings and weekly coordination with government QA.
