Job summary

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager for a USACE Mega-Project involving a new lock and dam. You will oversee the QC program, manage inspectors, testing, and on-site lab operations, and coordinate with government QA teams.

Ideal candidates have extensive large-scale project QC leadership, mass concrete experience, and a PE license or the ability to obtain CQM certification within 90 days. On-site role in Falls of Rough, KY.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer or construction management graduate with extensive experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience producing and placing mass concrete; USACE project familiarity preferred.
• Completion of Construction Quality Management for Contractors course or ability to obtain within 90 days of onboarding.
• PE License preferred.
• Experience leading QC staff and subcontractors; strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality Control management for a USACE Mega-Project (new Lock and Dam).
• Lead quality control staff including inspectors, testing, and lab operations.
• Maintain and control all QC documents and records on site.
• Coordinate QC activities with production, management and safety goals.
• Hold daily QC staff meetings and weekly coordination with government QA team.
