Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and sales techniques using POS systems and in-person selling.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, and supplies needs, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and create a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Comply with company policies and foster a culture of belonging.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, build trusting relationships, and create opportunities for all associates to thrive. Work as a team, communicate positively, and mentor others.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Successfully complete required trainings and assessments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in auto service industry or retail
