Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills to provide safe, efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and sales techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Adapt to new technology and encourage others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and developing others. Foster a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance. Support Walmart's culture and accountability.
- Serve our Customers and Members: Prioritize customer needs, make informed decisions, and consider the impact on the team’s ability to deliver.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to complete all required training and assessments successfully
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in auto service industry or retail experience
